A famous Mexican folk song says, "damn women are the ruination of men." Well, you can include one more thing in the song, baseball. This is the story about two killers, their victim, and two rival wives. The film begins with a peasant being beaten to death by two of his friends after a fateful baseball match. Oddly enough, the killers take the deceased man back to his place, wash him up, change his clothes, and keep him company the entire night and theorize the reason for man′s ultimate downfall: women. When his body is discovered, two women go to the police station and fight to claim his corpse. It′s a competition between the two widows to see who was the most adored, who he paid more visits to and who bore his children first. An ironic twist of events unravels the absurd reasoning behind the killing.
