Le cousin which means "informer" in French police slang, in about Gerard and Nounours. Gerard is chief detective of the anti-drug squad who takes it on himself to deal with Nounours when his colleague commits suicide. Nounours has no choice but to become a drug dealer to be one of the best informers. Since the effectiveness of the police, and of course Gerard, depends on this paradoxical relationship, this film takes an unconventional view of the police/informer relationship. A reality which he French police would much prefer to keep under cover.
