Blurring the boundaries between fiction and documentary, Marrcovich followed and filmed the lives of two young women for three years. Juliette is a lively and pretty young girl who secretly longs to be reunited with her father who left for the U.S. when she was a baby. Fabiola, a model, comes to Havana to film a music video and meets Juliette who was hired for the same video due to her amazing resemblance to Fabiola. Juliette forges an instant friendship with Fabiola who is also estranged from her own father. Fabiola arranges a meeting for Juliette with her Mexican agent as she leaves for New York where Juliette′s father lives.
