Byun Hyuk
Born in 1966, Byun graduated from Korea University with degree in French Literature and studied filmmaking at Korean Film Academy and received MFA from University of Paris 8. He also graduated from FEMIS. With 1991’s He co-directed [Homo Videocus], with E. J. Yong and received Grand prize at San Francisco Film Festival, Critic’s Choice Award at Clermont-Ferrand. He continued to make short films, including [Froid] (1994), [Birthday] (1996) and [Orson] (1997). [Interview] is his first feature-length film.
