Cow is a unique documentary about the daily lives of two cows, Luma, and her newborn calf. Andrea Arnold’s film illustrates the lives of these animals with no voiceover narration or interviews, whatsoever. Despite its absence of human voices, Cow exerts a strange power draw audiences in from the beginning. Of her film, Arnold has said, "This film is an endeavour to consider cows.
