Joe is a recovering alcoholic who runs the worst football team in Glasgow. Sarah is a health visitor. They literally run into eachother when Sarah comes to Joe′s neighborhood to do a health check. The two bicker and banter over everything but soon their relationship takes a turn towards romance. But their relationship must endure many obstacles in the form of troubled friends, a debt-collecting drug dealer and a turn of events that threatens their relationship.
