Yamanami, a Japanese submarine commanded by Captain KAIEDA, sinks after colliding with a Russian nuclear submarine. This is, however a coverup to allow KAIEDA and crew to board a new advanced unclear submarine. KAIEDA then becomes a renegade and flees, vowing to form an independent nation with the new submarine called "Yamoto." This nation would offer military assistance to nations without any nuclear weapons to separate military might from politics, eliminating wars on earth and creating one world-wide nation someday. Will this feat ever get realized?
