<Watari-Gawa> presents the mutual point of views of the history and relationship between Japan and Korea in this breakthrough documentary film. High school students, Japanese and Koreans born in Japan, meet and over two years, despite barriers, gain understanding and friendship. This journey of youth takes place against the beautiful scenery of the Shimanto River.

KIM Duk-Chul
Studied Films at Nihon Univ. Via a Scenario Laboratory, he entered into the film field as a cinematographer. His films include <Did you see the Barefood God> (1986), <Yun′s Town>
(1988), <Earth> (1991) and won many awards with <The River of Reconciliation> in 1995.

MORI Yasuyuki
Studied Literature at Hosei Univ. He directed a documentary film <The Ocean in Bikini Never Forget>(1990), and produced many TV documentary films.
