Program Note
A Philippine transvestite works in Japan′s entertainment industry to support his family of eighteen. This tragic-comedy reflects the geo-political relations governing Japan and the Philippines, two countries historically linked by a brutal war and currently meshed by a globilized economy.

Nick DEACAMPO
Nick Deocampo is a graduate of theater arts, cum laude, at the University of the Philippines in Diliman. He has acted as executive director of the Mowelfund Film Institute since 1989. He secured celebrity with [Oliver].
