A film about five killers and their mishaps. It′s the year 2011. The economy has collapsed and the US dollar is the currency of the State. Pae Bufgun, a washed-up hitman just out of prison, is mistakenly hired to assassinate Bangkok′s chief of police. He starts his assignment aided by three other somewhat peculiar killers, but they soon realize they are not the only ones assigned to kill the man. When the four killers meet a young killer searching for the tattooed man who killed his parents, the story becomes embroiled with unforeseeable consequences. Director Yuthlert Sippapak made his debut with this film and his major goal is clearly to entertain his audience. <b>Killer Tattoo</b> ranges across various genres from action, horror, SF, to comedy, using all the conventions of a B-grade film for its own devices. What lies ahead for these five not-too-bright killers? One thing for sure, this ′Bangkok′ style film, obviously influenced by music video styles, is nevertheless a highly original film with a remarkable ending. (Kwon Yong-Min)
