Daerim is an agent who cuts the grass in cemeteries in Jeju Island, who secretly admires a hairdresser called Sohee. The cemetery grass cutter and the hairdresser ? he identifies with her through his job and finds himself drawn to her. But while he’s cutting the grass around a grave he hears of her death.
