They scrape through by, selling furniture, but the ordeal seems to be endless. Children orphaned by assassinations are a reality in Kurdish society. The scenes of Diyarbakir, crowded yet so bleak, mirrors this reality. The picture doesn′t promise a rosy future taking advantage of the kids′ innocence nor beautify it by good grownups fake sympathy.
