Maxi, a twelve-year-old gay boy, lives with his family who makes a living by committing crimes. He sees Victor, a handsome newly recruited police officer next door, falls in love, and gets in trouble. As the police narrow in on his family, Maxi stands at a crossroads named ‘Love or family?’ With all the troubles like homosexuality, poverty, crime, and puberty, the film gaily treads its way while Maxi blossoms out.
