Distinguished IT expert, Paul has a happy family and wife. He participates in a conference held in a hotel in the mountains of Auvergne with his colleagues to win a project. Due to his agoraphobia, he puts himself in the hotel room, and a mysterious woman in the next room visits Paul and they begin a secret relationship. This film features a unique style of mysterious development and unexpected ending under the setting of futuristic images and anxious music. The feeling of achromatic color and a sort of barrenness and emptiness may not be irrelevant from the mental status of the characters. Under the setting of Auvergne which has many extinct volcanoes, magma is a metaphor of something that resides deep inside a person waiting to spout. After a series of experimental shorts, Pierre Vinour already received recognition after his first feature, [Supernova: Experiment #1], and this is his second feature film.
