Told from the point of view of a rescued buffalo, [Border] is the story of a small town trying to find itself after the Armenian-Azeri conflict. The buffalo’s reception by the other farm animals reflects the distrust rife in the countries of the post-Soviet world.

Harutyun KHACHATRYAN
Harutyun Khachatryan was born in Akhalkalaki, Georgia, and graduated from the Armenian State Pedagogical University in Yerevan, Armenia. Khachatryan served as an assistant director at the Armenian Documentary Studio and Hayfilm/Armenfilm Studio. His films include [Return of the Poet] (2005), [Documentarist] (2003), [Last Station] (1994), [Return to the Promised Land] (1991), and [White Town] (1988).
