The opening scene starts with piece of Chador fabric flapping in the wind. Iranian women trapped under the Chador and virginity issue that traps Iranian women once again is a painful and paradoxical side of Iran. The reality, where women being required to obtain a ‘certificate of virginity,’ causes dispute over the validity of the certificate. This induces husbands to accuse their wives, and wives′ parents-in-laws accusing her parents. The dispute over virginity tangled among the Koranic doctrine, and a male dominant society, and women′s rights results in endless and painful situations. Viewers face an uncomfortable reality which shows how a deeply rooted convention can entrap and disparage people.
