Lee Chong Ngak (70) has cancer while his daughter, Ellen Lee, volunteers at a hospice. She videotapes her dad’s last days documenting his wishes so the son cannot stir up troubles. As Lee suffers the strength of the family is put to the test.

Ang Aik Heng was born in Singapore. He has produced and directed commercial documentaries, docu-dramas, and TV programs. [This Too Shall Pass] is his first documentary feature. He has produced award-winning documentaries for international networks like [Brat Camp China]. His first docudrama [My World My Blog] won Best Docudrama at the New York Film Festival 2009.
