Program Note
A young wife, Utami, sees her husband Warso off. She waits for him. Warso leaves with his lover, Ningsih, who also left her husband Darsam. The lovers meet and happily leave the village. Darsam and Utami both wait for their respective partners and ten years pass.

Nurman Hakim graduated from the Jakarta Institute of the Arts. His short films have played at festivals all over the world. His debut film [Pesantren: 3 Wishes 3 Loves], received grants from the Global Film Initiative, Cinema Fonds Sud and the Goteborg Film Fund.
