A mother undergoes a strange operation to save her seven-year-old son who is dying from a failing heart. However, she recovers from the operation only to learn of the serious consequences that she has to bear from it. [Respirator] is an unusual horror tale set in present day Singapore. The film is also a social commentary of the country’s prevalent charity frauds.
