A 20-year-old Jin-seop is a sole bread-earner for his family of the ailing mother and a 5-year-old brother. Jin-seop’s plea to defer his Army draft on the basis of the only caregiver to the family was denied because his long gone father still remained in the family registry. In desperation, Jin-seop begins his journey to find his father who had abandoned the family.
