Program Note
Customs at the pier is where all crews have to go through in order to arrive at a harbor. A wife, who came to the port to meet her husband, waits without knowing when he will arrive and wanders around the customs. Around sunset, she finally gets to see him and their awkward day starts.
Director
CHOI Yongseok
Born in 1979. Majored in Film Studies in Pusan Kyungsung University. He directed and wrote his short digital debut film [Exotic] in 1998. His 16mm short film, [Going Together] was invited to Busan Asia Short Film Festival competition section for script and directing. In 2007 his digital feature film, [After] was invited to the competition section of Cinema Digital Seoul and to the Inaugural Exhibition of Chinese Independent Film Archive.
