This “culture film” directed by the first woman filmmaker of Georgia presents contrasting landscapes of the famous vacation spot surrounding the mountainous Racha region and the struggling life of its residents. When a power plant and a spa resort are constructed in this town, people begin to build hope for change and a new life. Inheriting the typical characteristics of the first-generation Soviet films that depict the contrast between old and new lives, this historical documentary film had long been lost until its print was recovered after 82 years to be brought back to its home Georgia.
