The film’s print was found at an archive in Taiwan in 2013, which enabled the 1965 original film to be screened again in Korea this year. Yoon-bok keeps a diary while supporting his young siblings and dejected father. Finding his diary so moving, Yoon-bok’s teacher at school helps his diary be published as a book.
