With only the groom knowing how to get there and armed with questionable directions, the short drives extends beyond the expected, and the families start to grate on each other. Editor Oskarsdottir’s ironic and typically offbeat comedy hinges on the two families and the seemingly straightforward manner in which they interact with each other. But like the directions to the mysterious church, relations get lost and tangled, until they reach a breaking point and tradition becomes the enemy.
