Program Note
Born to a Christian family living at a suburban mansion, Keto grows safely with the love of her grandfather and parents. When she is kidnapped by strangers, her parents do their best to get her back, but find no clues. Years later, the parents find Keto, who was sold to a Muslim family, but Keto is no longer the young girl they knew. As the first work of Nana Janelidze, who assumes an important standing in the Georgian film history, this romantic and poetic film is completed with beautiful scenery and colors as well as an impressive storyline derived from Georgian literature.
