For women, the only way to visit a man locked in a prison is by marriage, and so they need a marriage certificate to get a permission of the legally guaranteed visits. They rush to sign the document as a mere formality and spend two days with their husbands in rooms inside prison separately prepared for couples. Portraying the loneliness and deviation of the women who live apart from their jailed husbands, and the layers of emotions resulting from such separation, this film focuses on their love and relationship rather than political criticism or accusation. This work received a positive response at 2014 Berlin Film Festival. (KIM Young-woo)
