Sarah, a young photographer is by herself on Christmas eve. She′s been alone since her husband died tragically in a car accident. Today is the last day she has to spend at home before going to hospital to induce labour. The calm is interrupted by a knock on the door. Confronted by a mysterious woman, Sarah is immediately suspicious, and refuses to let her in. However, she will not leave. Sarah has no idea who she is but she know everything about her. What is the best way of describing Inside? Brutal. No other word comes in to my mind, and I am sure I am speaking for everyone who saw the film. It is like Inside is trying to make a statement to all other horror films that this is ‘slasher’. Beatrice Dalle who played a weird and masochistic woman in Betty Blue once again shows bizarre way of entertaining the audience in Inside, only much more brutally. (Dosin PAK)
