Dentist Oscar lives with his wife and stepchildren in an affluent neighborhood, trying but failing to have children of his own. His world shatter when he discovers a betrayal by his wife. Einar is a stockbroker who is biding his time in a hotel until his wife agrees to take him back into their home. While allowing the fantasy of a perfect marriage to continue at work, he wanders the streets at night, eventually meeting a young woman who is not what she appears. Katrin Rose is a mysterious woman returned from Sweden, hoping to reconnect with her son. A new job at a dentist’s office offer a fresh start is crushed by a past that haunts her present. In the follow-up to Children, Parents is a film about trust, betrayal, and above all parenthood as filtered through the interconnected lives of three very different ? and troubled ? characters.

Ragnar BRAGASON
Born in Sudavik, Iceland, the multiple award nominee Ragnar Bragason has worked in music video and advertising in addition to making films. His films have screened at festivals in Toronto, Pusan, Cairo, Gothenburg, and at Raindance. His filmography includes Dead Angels (1994), I Love You Stella (1995), Fiasco (2000), Fostbrothers (2001) and Children (2006).
