This is the film that put Park Chul-soo’s name on the map. The woman in Room 301 is obsessed with eating and the one in Room 302 refuses to eat. When her husband loses interest in her, the woman in 301 cooks her husband’s pet. The woman in 301 was sexually abused by her stepfather as a child. The director talks about female issues through these two contrasting women. One is over dependent on her husband and the other can’t eat because of her memories.
