Program Note
Love between a married thirty something woman and a 20-year-old man. The woman, who is about to get a divorce, has an old lover but is also falling for the young man. Her mother-inlaw does not want the divorce to occur, yet the woman secretly meets the young man during her mother-in-law’s birthday party. This posthumous release of the last film work by Park Chulsoo makes its world premiere at Busan. Director Park Chul-soo made numerous films about sex since the 80s, and Green Chair 2013 ? Love Conceptually is in that tradition. One sex scene is very much like the famous one in Today’s Woman. (NAM Dong-chul)
