Official Poster

The poster for the 7th Pusan International Film Festival is by Yusan MIN KyungKap (酉山 閔庚甲), a master of color paintings who has depicted the nature as a state that is free from thoughts or a world of unification. This work, which plays up the significance of the nature and the festival, is based on two shapes: origami paper and film, or curtain. The fluttering origami papers represent the festivity and joy of the festival, while the curtain or film signifies the film festival that opens up to a new, unknown world. The blue background symbolizes the regional trait (seaside city) of Busan, where the Pusan International Film Festival is held, and produces a fantastical effect in conjunction with the pop of colors.
