A man meets a woman, falls in love, and spends his life with her. Perhaps the most shocking aspect of this film is that it boldly depicts the sexuality of a couple in their seventies. Based on a true story the director encountered in a documentary, he recruited the real people to play themselves in this feature debut film. Too Young to Die has every element of a conventional romantic comedy, but presents a reality that cannot be recreated in fiction by describing specific details of the sex lives of people in their silver age.
