Program Note
Former kickboxer Luis (Yokohama Ryusei) has a dark past of working as a debt collector in a gang. Having led a solitary life as a taciturn loner, one day, he meets a blind but bright and cheerful Akari (Yoshitaka Yuriko). He falls in love with her without knowing that her tragedy of losing her parents and her sight in a car accident is connected to his past. Takahiro MIKI’s new film Your Eyes Tell, who has produced a number of music videos and advertising films, is a re-creation of Director Song Il-gon’s Always, the opening film of the 16th Busan International Film Festival. BTS’s song of the same name “Your Eyes Tell” is used as the theme song. (Jay JEON)
