Croesus Vole finds gold in the beavers’ dam. To demolish the dam and get the gold he tricks the witch’s daughter Lova to enchant Bamse. With Bamse gone, it’s up to the children to help each other to stop Croesus, but to do that, they have to be friends. Bamse and the Witch’s Daughter new feature animation of Bamse, the most famous cartoon character in Sweden from 1960s born by Rune Andréasson, “the Swedish Disney.” Bamse and his friend’s adventure has covered many interesting topics including value of family and gender equality throughout the development of the character. With the familiar face of brown bear, Bamse again tells a story with full of exciting adventures and positive message for children. After three years of screening Bamse and the City of Thieves (2014) at Busan Internatioanl Film Festival, this new Bamse story will give memorable moments to children again.

Christian RYLTENIUS
Christian Ryltenius started his animation career at Swedish studio Penn Film AB. After that, he studied Animation at Canada’s Sheridan College, before working in Asia as Overseas Supervisor. He launched Sluggerfilm in Sweden in 2004. His filmography includes Bjorn Bear (2004), Elsa and the Bedtime Stories (2010), Bamse and the City of Thieves (2014).
