Since the 1990s, Nepal has become a pipeline of cheap labour to the Gulf. This film shows glimpses of the migrant′s displacement and his gritty working conditions in the alien and stultifying environment of the Gulf, rarely captured, given the region′s sensitivity to criticism of how they treat their foreign workers.The stories of disillusionment and, occasional, empowerment reflect the enormity of the migrant′s journey.
