Program Note
Ay Nabaat is a 17 year-old girl from Afghanistan. Her life is interlocked to carpet strings and colors. Her father is engaged in a fued with another ethnic group so he decides to marry Ay Nabaat to a man who already has three wives. This resolves nothing.

Roya Sadat is from Herat, Afghanistan. She has a B.A. from the University of Herat. She also received a Certificate of Film Directing in 2006 from the Asian Academy in Pusan. She directed the first ever soap opera [Secrets of This House] for Afghanistan television in 2009.
