Rain seeks the metaphysical meaning of rain. The film interweaves the scenery before/after rain with interviews on memories related to rain. The interviewees tell their feelings and experiences earnestly, seriously, and even with humor. The calm yet various images of rain, shot with remarkable imagery and composition, gives the viewer a serene moment of introspection.(HONG Hyosook)
Director
Moon Wonleep
Moon studied industrial chemistry at Seoul National University and graduated from Temple University’s School of Communication and Theater. He directed several documentaries and experimental films, and his short documentary [Subway](1996) was screened at the 1st PIFF.
