A young single mother raising a baby girl receives a financial offer for her to become a temporary wife of an unknown man. Even though it’s no different than prostitution, she accepts the offer for her daughter. While the film deals with the problem of women sacrificed by poverty and custom in Iran, it elaborately captures the inherent desire of women. (CHO Young-jung)
