The 4th Asia Contents Awards (ACA), held on October 8 (Sat) at the BIFF Theater in the Busan Cinema Center, has announced this year’s awardees.

The Asia Contents Awards (ACA) was established to award outstanding TV, OTT, and online content from Asia, as well as Korea. Co-hosted by Asian Contents & Film Market and COMPOSE COFFEE, the 4th ACA was streamed live via the Busan International Film Festival’s official YouTube channel, NAVER NOW, and Japan’s PIA LIVE STREAM for Korean and international audiences who were unable to attend on-site. Starting with Danny Jung’s opening performance, girl group NiziU and boy group Golden Child also presented special performances for the audience, escalating the enthusiastic atmosphere.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo, broadcasted on ENA, achieved the honor of 2 crowns by receiving Best Actress for Park Eun Bin, as well as Best Content prize, and Netflix’s Squid Game also earned the title of 2 crowns by winning Technical Achievement Award and Best Supporting Actor for Park Haesoo. The Orbital Children won Best Asian Animation and The Atom Araullo Specials: Young Arms won Best Asian Documentary.

The Best Actor award went to Suzuki Ryohei, who starred in the Japanese drama series Mobile Emergency Room, which was broadcasted on TBS and Disney+, and the Best Writer prize was given to Wang Xiaoshuai and Yang Yishu of The Pavilion. The winner of the Best Supporting Actress was Sora Ma of This Land is Mine, and the New Comer winners were Bao Shang En, actress of Love Behind the Melody and Yokohama Ryusei, actor of The Journalist. Kawamura Tatsuo, representative chairman of K Dash Co., LTD, won the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Song Byeongjoon, president of Korea Drama Production Association, won the Achievement Award. The recipient of the ACA Excellence Award was actress Fan Bingbing, and the ACA Rising Star winners were Ling Man Lung of In Geek We Trust and Kim Minha of Pachinko.
