Breathing new life into the cinematic tradition of moral comedies, this sophisticated depiction of emotional disarray follows a teenage schoolgirl who is forced to tell the truth in order to receive fitting punishment. By complicating the nature of truthfulness, this film rejects the assignment and refuses to pass judgement. Instead, it chooses to embrace – as expressed by a character – "the power of love".
