Opening / Closing Ceremony Information

  • Please make sure to sit on the designated seat in compliance with COVID-19 prevention policy.
  • Food and beverages are not allowed except non-alcoholic drink in a non-breakable glass bottle with a cap.
  • Taking picture or any kind of filmming is strictly prohibited during the screening.
  • Please enter before the start of the screening for smooth viewing of the movie.
  • If you are not feeling well, please check your temperature. If your body temperature is above 37.5, please refrain from entering for everyone.
  • Please follow the instruction from our staff or volunteers inside the opening and closing ceremony venue.

*You can enter the opening and closing ceremony of the Busan International Film Festival only when the following information is confirmed.

  • Quarantine Guidelines : All persons must wear masks at all theaters and all event venues, even during film screenings.
  • If you have a fever or respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, etc.), please visit a nearby hospital for a quick antigen test

※ If you do not meet the above conditions, you cannot enter even if you have a ticket.

Traffic controls around Busan Cinema Center on the day of Opening & Closing Ceremony

During the opening & closing ceremony (October 5 & 14), the roads around the Busan Cinema Center will be blocked.

Parking on Opening and Closing ceremony day

There will be no parking space available in Busan Cinema Center during the opening and closing ceremonies, and vehicle entry is restricted around the Busan Cinema Center. There will be traffic congestion near Centum City as well as the Cinema Center on the day of the opening and closing ceremonies. It is highly recommended for the audiences who come for the ceremonies to use public transportation. If you bring your car, please use nearby paid parking facilities such as BEXCO or the department stores. We kindly ask you for your understanding.
