Recalling the fictional Romeo and Juliet and the real-life James Carville and Mary Matalin, come David Massey and Lea Jones. Director Mora Stephens combines actual footage captured during the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York to add a contemporary element to a love story that dates back to Shakespeare. Massey is a staunch Texas Republican, and Jones is an old crush from college-a Liberal, native New Yorker, she′s at the Convention specifically to protest the Bush administration. The chaos of the convention mirrors the turmoil for the would be lovers as their personal and political lives clash.
