The poster illustration of the 10th PUSAN International Film Festival, Yuhwa Jamaedo (picture of you-hwa sisters), is done by one of the most well-known visual artists on korea, LEE Man-ik.

Based on the ancient Korean myth from the Goguryo era, the the poster is about the story of the lady named You-hwa, who went through extreme hardship brining up Joo-mong, one of the most honored mythical country founders. The depiction of strong will and free spirit of You-hwa, with exquisite lineworks and impeccable color scheme, reflects the festival's commitment to retaining its original intention, which is to globalize Asian Cinema, and to being one of the most prominent film festival of our time.
