Information Showing Award Juries Poster/Trailer
The poster illustration of the 9th PIFF, Chunji, is one of artist LEE Jong-sang's (a.k.a. Il Lang) 60 paintings of Lake Chunji in Mt. Baekdoo, the loftiest mountain said to hold the spirit of Korea. With carefree vitality expressed through simple and abstract strokes, his works leave a lot of room for interpretation. Facing the 10th anniversary next year, this poster reflects, like Mt. Baekdoo's unchanging spirit, the festival commitment to retaining the original intention of PIFF, which is to promote the advance of Asian cinema worldwide.
