PROGRAM NOTE
Towards the end of the Vietnam War in 1972, a Korean platoon goes to a place called R-Point on a special mission. They’re there to look for a group of missing soldiers who disappeared six months before but are still sending SOS signals. They can’t find the missing men, and terrible events unfold. The film deserves attention for capturing a shameful chapter in modern Korean history within the genre of horror films.
