
The 21st Busan International Film Festival will be held from October 6 to 15, 2016 in Busan, Korea.

| Submission will be considered complete only when the required film information is registered online and the screener is delivered to the Festival by the deadline. | ||
| ELIGIBILITY | The Festival accepts features, short films, documentaries and animation. The film must not be broadcasted on TV or available on the Internet prior to the Festival.

| ENTRY FEE | There is no entry fee for submission to the Festival. | |
| SUBMISSION FORMAT | The Festival accepts DVD screener for selection consideration. Films in any language other than Korean or English must be provided with English subtitles. The DVD screener should be clearly labeled with the details as below: DVD Submission The DVD should be clearly labeled with the
1) Film Title
2) Director’s Name 3) Duration 4) Contact Information 5) Tracking Number.

| THEATRICAL FORMAT | Should the film be selected, it must be available in either DCP(D-Cinema), 35mm, HD, or (Digi)Beta by September 2016. No other formats including DVD and Blu-ray are compatible. DCP is the most preferred, and the rest of the available formats may be restricted to certain screening venues and time-slots due to different facilities in venues. | |
| PRIORITY | The Festival program gives priority to World or International premieres.

| SELECTION RESULTS | The Festival will notify the selection results to the filmmakers by August 31. The Festival reserves the right to decide the section in which the selected film will participate.
